Skeleton Sea Art & Surf Camp comes to Vieux Boucau France

Surfersvillage Global Surf News , 25 July, 2011 : - - Munich -- Following the resounding success of the first Skeleton Sea Art & Surf Camps on Fuerteventura, this year’s camp will be held from 15.10 – 22.10.2011 in Vieux Boucau on France’s Atlantic coast. In conjunction with our regular surf camp organiser Wave Tours, we have arranged superb accommodation for camp participants in the Vieux Atlantic Surf Lodge.

The sunny courtyard and large garden are ideal for the art workshop, where the Skeleton Sea artists and camp participants will create a new Skeleton Sea artwork together. When complete, this artwork will become a permanent part of the Skeleton Sea exhibition as a sculpture created at the Wave Tours camp. The material from which the work will evolve over the course of the week-long camp will be gathered on a beach cleaning session involving camp participants.

In addition to the art workshop, a visit to the complete Skeleton Sea exhibition in the Centro de Biodiversidad de Euskadi – Torre Madariaga above Mundaka is also on the schedule.

In between the daily art activities there will also be plenty of opportunities for surfing. And the Vieux Atlantic Surf Lodge is also ideal for the daily surf sessions. There are first class beach breaks just a few minutes from the lodge while the more remote spots to the north and the world-famous Seignosse and Hossegor breaks in the south can also be reached in just ten minutes.

The Skeleton Artist Group is composed of Luis de Dios, Xandi Kreuzeder and João Parrinha.
