Albuquerque police said the person taken into custody is Vakei Robinson, 22. He's the suspect in the Del Taco robbery that happened last Saturday, Los Lunas police said. Los Lunas police also said Robinson was implicated in a gas station robbery on the same day. Police searched homes and yards in the 700 block of Thoroughbred Drive SW. Police agencies were searching for an armed robber who kidnapped a restaurant employee on Saturday.
