Scioto Audubon - Columbus Metro Parks – Exploring Columbus Ohio

Columbus Metro Parks, Audubon Ohio, and the City of Columbus Recreation & Parks partnered to bring you the Scioto Audubon!

A real gem, the 94 acres in the heart of Columbus, the Scioto Audubon is nestled on the Scioto River bank on the Whittier Peninsula.

Five acres of wetland cells is dedicated to enhance wildlife habitat. Birding is very popular in this area and several species such as the blue-winged tail, wood ducks, egrets, pied-billed grebe, herons, American bittern and osprey have been seen.

Not into birding? That’s okay!
