The Office of Budget and Finance at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse invites you to join our professional team by applying for the position of Academic Budget Planner for Academic Support. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Budget and Finance, this position is responsible for conducting detailed policy and resource analyses to support decision-making, planning, institutional assessment, and policy formulation for top campus budget administration. In this position, you will focus on delivering of data, information, and service to wide variety of academic support initiatives and units. The team in Administrative and Finance is committed to being inclusive and supports the learning and teaching mission of the campus. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a business-related degree and experience that will have prepared the applicant for the duties of this position. • Documented commitment to customer service. • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact professionally and analytically with multiple stakeholders. • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. • Effective organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and projects. • Ability to produce results with a high level of accuracy within required time frames. • Ability to develop models for analysis and present complicated financial material in an understandable way. • Absolute discretion regarding confidential material is required.

Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of and experience with complex computer-based management and financial systems.
