Users of the inSPOT service can send anonymous e-cards via email to up to six partners warning them that they should get tested.

The message?

"This is not what brought you to the party, that's what you left. I left with an STI. You might, too. Get checked soon www.inspot. org ".

You are then asked to enter your "sorry dude" message.

Or take the postcard gray with three brass monkeys on the front, each covering either the eyes, ears or mouth.

This is the slogan: "Nobody wants to be the bearer of bad news ...But I have a diagnosis of MTS. (You might have one too).

There is nothing funny about STDs, but with a little humor to deflect attention from the harshness and difficulty of e-mailing a major "whoops" e-card.

Of course, there's always abstinence or practicing safe sex, but the reality is, some people do not - and many more keep quiet because of the embarrassment.

The electronic card provides a less intense to be honest and open. It's like leaving a message, or by writing an e-mail. And it can actually save a life.
