Seven Keys To Organize Your Life

Introduction

To organize means to plan and prepare beforehand an event or an occurrence in your life. Organization also means putting items where they belong, remembering where they are and being able to access them when needed. Could you use some organization today? Do you need a better system of filing and retrieval? And do you want to save time and money? Well then, follow me in this hub to unfold some keys to organize your life and watch you reap big rewards.

Organization is critical to the success and productivity of your life. Organization helps you become more efficient, and save time and money. Organization helps to keep you from rushing and emergencies. Organization is the conduit to a more enjoyable life. We all can use a little assistance no matter what level or status we are in life. Notepads, Secretaries, planners and tape recorders were all perhaps, born out of a need for organization. Many different technology tools help us manage and organize our responsibilities.

1. Set Goals

One of the most important keys to organization is goal setting. Goals give you a target; something to aim for. Goals drive you to become and do more. For example, say you want to lose weight. You do not just start losing. You set a goal of how much, and then work towards that goal. You exercise, eat certain foods and weight yourself for the best results. Suppose you want to write articles on HubPages. Do you just start writing? Well, maybe. For me, I have a goal of writing a certain amount of articles by a certain date. I have set a target date and am in the process of writing the topics I will write between now and then. The goals I set will help me determine the type of organization I need to reach my goals. Ok, enough said, let’s move on to key number two.

2. Simplify

Easier said than done. To simplify means to know your limitations. When you simplify you do not duplicate effort. Simplify means to break down in part to the tiniest component, sounds like I’m talking math. Simplifying means to break down in part that, which is complicated. You do away with the complicated and complex parts and aspects of your life. It is a doing away with complicated people and things. I also believe that simplification means to learn what each part means, and how it fits into the system. When you think about your world, what and who go together? What and who can you live without? What and whom do you need and cannot live without? I know this can be a tough question – but it is worth answering.
